Position Summary
We are looking for a new EAI Lead / Architect that will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of the EAI platform for the organization. This role will work with senior leadership to develop, architect, design and implement initiatives that align with the organization's overall data integration goals.
This person will lead all aspects of application integration (people, process, technology) across the enterprise, both those systems and capabilities that are in use today, as well as those that they will design and implement as part of their role to invest in the standardization and capability building of the future. While this person will need to take on the existing landscape of integrations and support them day-to-day, they will be also empowered and charged to define and lead the efforts to eliminate legacy platforms and ways of exchanging data across platforms in a standard way for all integrations.
This will be a hands-on leadership role that collaborates with various developers, analysts (including ERP experts, Basis, Security, Networking, Data Center ), project managers, and business partners (both inside and outside to our organization). This person should be able to think strategically and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve the organization's goals, while leading their team to maintain effective and efficient day-to-day operations.
This person will be expected to understand the current needs of the organization and assemble an organizational design to build an onshore / offshore team to support current state as well as the future target end-state as platforms and standards are implemented and modernized. This person will have full responsibility to source, hire, train, develop, coach and manage the workforce that will carry out the organization's charter to modernize and standardize integration services.
The person in this role must have a deep understanding of relevant technological trends and integration best practices.The successful candidate will have had previous experience leading an enterprise integration from an on-prem integration framework to a hybrid framework that includes on-prem and cloud-based architecture.
This role is both strategic and tactical , requiring expertise in ERP integration , hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures , and leadership of cross-functional teams . The ideal candidate will drive the modernization of integration frameworks , ensuring performance, security, scalability, and compliance with industry best practices.
This role will collaborate with senior leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to architect solutions that support digital transformation initiatives, enabling seamless connectivity between SAP, cloud applications, and other enterprise platforms.

Essential Responsibilities
• Responsible for the design and implementation of an EAI solution architecture and technology roadmap based on the needs and expectations of the business. Creation of scalable integration architectures that meet business requirements while ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead the development and deployment of integration processes and interfaces, leveraging the EAI platform.
• Implement complex integration workflows, APIs/WebServices, and data transformation mappings using connectors, process libraries, and scripting.
• Ensure integration architectures align with ITT's overall IT strategy, compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR), and security best practices.
• Develop and implement strategies that enable best in class service delivery, cost control & new capabilities
• Manage daily operations and service delivery for all integration activities globally
• Establish global standards for all in scope technologies and related services
• Lead the creation of repeatable, closed loop processes that govern how services are delivered & maintained.
• Ensure service delivery processes and all technology configurations support strict cyber security best practices
• Work with the business to understand the needs and establish IT strategies that enable business growth and improve business process efficiency and sustainability.
• Develop governance models for API security, authentication, authorization, and access control.
• Stay up to date with emerging integration trends (API-first strategies, event-driven architectures, AI-driven integrations) and evaluate their impact on ITT's IT ecosystem.
• Lead and manage a team of developers and analysts
• Lead and mentor developers, providing guidance on best practices in integrations and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application developers, business analysts (including ERP experts, Basis, Security, Networking, Data Center ), and project managers, to ensure alignment and adherence to architectural standards.
• Ensuring that EAI architectures, including EDI technology, are aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives.
• Developing and maintaining architecture standards, and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Identifying areas for capability improvement and implementing strategy, roadmap to address them.
• Staying up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
• Communicating technology target state, roadmap and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Improve the data quality in the various communication/integration obtaining a more consistent and unified data and integration approach
• Create a centralized repository of enterprise data, removing data silos in order to create scalable and secure solutions.

• MS in computer science with 5 years EAI architecture experience or BS and 10 years of EAI architecture experience.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance concepts, application design patterns, and best practices.
