Position Brand Description:
The Manager is responsible for setting strategies and objectives for his or her area within Indianapolis Device Assembly (IDM) and Packaging support Autoinjector Assembly and Capital Project Portfolio. The Manager partners with other leaders to influence and implement the organization's functional agenda, Business Plan priorities, and GMP Plan objectives for the Site. The Manager is responsible for developing employees as necessary to meet these business requirements.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Develop, mentor, coach, and recognize employees within their organization
Implement business plan objectives
Track team performance
Ensure resources and tools are available
Staff the team to meet business needs
Demonstrate Lilly's core values
Promote safety and quality culture
Remove performance barriers
Provide technical support as needed
Develop local processes per Maintenance and Engineering system
Ensure qualified resources for asset management
Execute Maintenance and Engineering System requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering
Background in manufacturing, maintenance, or automation engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Additional Preferences:
Previous supervisory/leadership experience
Recognized strong team leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both oral and written)
Strong talent development skills, especially coaching and people development
Solid regulatory compliance knowledge (GMP, OSHA, etc.)
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$96,000 - $173,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
