Job Title:
Manager, Depot and M&R Procurement
Location:
This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly
Role Summary:
Leads efforts of the procurement team focused on services supporting functional areas as assigned by senior leadership
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for the procurement team focused on the depot and M&R services to include negotiating and securing rates and terms of contractual agreements. The mission is to ensure cargo moves using the most cost-efficient route while sustaining a high service level. Works cross-functionally and with external groups to accomplish service goals and cost containment goals. Develops and maintains good working relationships with key maintenance and depot partners. Responsible and accountable for all employees reporting directly to this position and for ensuring company policy is communicated and followed. Proactively communicates cross-functionally to eliminate controllable service exceptions and accessorial costs. Ability to draw upon 3+ years of management experience in an intermodal capacity. Possess a proven track record in monitoring and meeting departmental performance and financial metrics. Experience overseeing expenditures exceeding $100,000,000 annually, is a plus.

Required Minimum Years Experience:
3+ yrs management/ supervisory experience and 5+ function/industry-related
Required Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
