Responsibilities

The H-E-B Planning & Analysis Team develops and maintains budgets and financial systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical info. To help make essential Corporate planning decisions, our Analysts apply data-wrangling skills and business acumen to identify and tackle business problems. As a Manager of Planning & Analysis - BI, you'll lead Partners who support Product Manager work with data analysis, requirements documentation, and reporting and visualization.

We are looking for:
- a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 8+ years of related experience
- experience in people management (preferred)

What is the work?
Management:
- Manages a team of Data Solutions (P&A) Partners; leads / coaches / provides expectations and performance feedback; directs work
- Onboards / mentors new Partners; ensures they understand H-E-B data / business processes
- Collaborates with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Report Developers to ensure vertical team road maps are aligned with enterprise BI road maps and solutions meet enterprise standards
- Works with Technical Managers and Technical Project Managers to ensure vertical team's road map is aligned with Data Solutions strategies
- Facilitates / participates in cross-functional data projects
- Ensures project solutions align with data governance and data security strategies
- Supports / may lead ad-hoc special projects for business analysis and report development
- Facilitates conflict management, alignment on individual team Partner responsibilities

What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence report development / financial analysis
- Experience in H-E-B merchandising / financial analysis / data engineering functions
- Experience in people management (preferred)
