Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Manager of Total Rewards on behalf of a leading US-Based LNG Company. This position will be located in Arlington, Virginia and requires the ideal candidate to be in the office 5-days a week.
Position Overview: Manager, Benefits & Total Rewards The Total Rewards team is dedicated to managing domestic programs such as compensation, mobility, health, retirement plans, time-off policies, wellness initiatives, and more.
We are seeking a motivated professional ready to expand their career as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for domestic leave and time-off programs. As the
Manager, Total Rewards - Domestic, you will play a key role in supporting employees, collaborating with business partners, and driving program improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in leave administration within an HR setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and global leave laws and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP Workforce Now) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer employee leave programs, including Paid Family Leave, Short- and Long-Term Disability, ADA accommodations, personal leave, Workers' Compensation, and compliance with federal, state, and global regulations.
- Collaborate with employees, managers, HR, and payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate leave processing.
- Revise and align policies with current legislation and industry best practices.
- Draft employee communications and act as a point of contact for leave-related inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on leave policies and processes.
- Partner with HR teams and external vendors to ensure smooth program administration.
- Address employee benefit inquiries and resolve issues through root cause analysis.
- Support annual enrollment and compensation review processes.
- Evaluate and enhance internal procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain and update employee records in Total Rewards systems and databases.
- Perform plan audits and verify data accuracy.
- Assist with other Total Rewards projects, such as vendor implementations and system improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience administering leave programs and working with health and welfare benefits (e.g., medical, dental, vision, life insurance), wellness initiatives, and retirement plans.
- Familiarity with benefits implementation or program phase-outs in HRIS systems.
- Certifications or coursework in benefits, compensation, or related fields.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or adjust to different time zones as needed.
