The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting, fast-tracked position designed to equip you with the skills for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our strong commitment to promoting from within, you will have the chance to advance to the Assistant Store Manager position after completing the initial 8-week training.
This role typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, including possible evenings and weekends.
Throughout the program, you will work alongside store management to lead a multi-million-dollar business, providing key insights into store strategy and operations. You will master all aspects of operations, develop relationships with commercial clients such as painting contractors and manufacturers, and play an essential role in the team's success.

Job Responsibilities: - Complete established training in line with program requirements.
- Support strategies to boost sales and profit margins.
- Deliver excellent customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Develop expertise on all products to provide effective recommendations.
- Foster positive relationships with retail and wholesale customers.
- Handle store administration tasks efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security protocols.
- Maintain store organization and visual merchandising standards.
- Assist in training, developing, and managing team performance.
- Address and resolve any customer or employee concerns.
- Collaborate with Store Manager on outside sales initiatives to enhance market share.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Must have a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 70 lbs. occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
- 1 year of experience in a leadership role managing teams.
- Experience in a collaborative environment through work or extracurricular activities.
- Familiarity with painting products is advantageous.
- Experience with timekeeping or customer relationship management systems.
- Willingness to relocate for employment opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
