The Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to equip you for a rewarding career in Floorcovering Facility Management or as a Sales Representative within 18-24 months. With Sherwin-Williams' commitment to internal promotions, you can advance to a leadership role such as Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician upon successfully completing the initial 8-to-12-week training.

This program offers a structured 44-hour work week, potentially including evenings and weekends, providing you with the flexibility to grow in your career.

Upon completion of this program, you will be placed in a rewarding role as either a Floorcovering Operations Manager or Floorcovering Field Technician. Your journey will involve:
  • Working alongside facility leadership and regional management to oversee a multi-million-dollar operation.
  • Gaining comprehensive knowledge of facility operations, core products, installation techniques, customer service, and client development.
  • Growing our market share by partnering with commercial clients such as property management companies and renovation contractors.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders in procurement, project management, and property development.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship.
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Internal candidates must have received a meets expectations rating on their latest performance appraisal.
  • Completion of required HR Cloud eLearning courses for current role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Leadership experience supervising others or leading teams for at least one year.
  • Previous experience in team-oriented settings, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Sales experience in floorcovering products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a benefit, particularly Spanish.
