Join the Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Development Program, a fast-tracked, entry-level opportunity designed to equip you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our philosophy of promoting from within, you'll have the chance to step into an Assistant Store Manager role upon completing an initial 6-8-week training program successfully.

Your typical work schedule will include 44 hours per week, which may require evenings and weekends.

As you participate in this program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a multimillion-dollar business, providing valuable leadership and insights into its development and strategy. Throughout the training, you will understand operations, clients, and internal strategies, enabling you to play a significant role in your team's success. You will also work to grow the company's market share by engaging with large commercial clients such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete training consistent with the established program.
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of products for effective customer recommendations.
  • Foster positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Assist with store administration and operational compliance.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Support employee training, development, and performance management.
  • Address and resolve customer and employee complaints.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on outside sales initiatives to expand market share.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without future sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • One (1) year of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment, such as work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Familiarity with selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Experience with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in more than one language is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is beneficial.
