Budget Management Analyst to join our Financial Affairs team. This critical role supports the university's financial operations by ensuring accuracy in payroll and budget transactions, analyzing key data for decision-making, and contributing to high-impact projects.
What You'll Do: - Serve as a key reviewer and approver for budget-related EPAFs and labor distribution updates (PHAREDS) in Banner.
- Analyze and maintain budget data across multiple departments to ensure compliance with institutional and state guidelines.
- Generate and analyze budget reports to identify and resolve any budget discrepancies.
- Coordinate and support university-wide processes such as intercampus charges and institutional representation accounts.
- Conduct research and financial analysis for special projects that support strategic decision-making.
- Provide backup support for select auxiliary services functions.
What You'll Need: - A solid understanding of budgeting, payroll processes, and financial systems (Banner experience preferred).
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with various departments and translate complex financial information.
- Comfort navigating state, BOR, and institutional rules and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
