Why does the job exist?
Management Analyst will apply advanced research methodologies, program analysis, and management expertise to solve complex problems across multiple levels of government and organizational sectors.
In this role, employee will act as team leader for budget tracking, paying invoices, and ensuring the efficient execution of high-level analysis and planning. The role includes providing consultation and oversight services to local governments and contractors, addressing multifaceted management challenges, and contributing specialized knowledge to comprehensive planning programs.
How does it get done?
Conduct research and collect relevant data to understand the business challenges.
Ensure payments and invoices are paid and tracked accordingly.
Reconcile and submit travel reimbursements, payment vouchers and other administrative items timely and without errors.
Analyze operational processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Develop recommendations for streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and solving organizational problems.
Work closely with management teams to implement solutions and provide ongoing consultation and support.
Communicate findings and recommendations through reports, presentations, and meetings.
Collaborate with other specialists on larger team-based projects.
Stay up-to-date with current policy and procurement rules.

Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in SHARE Financials.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Experience working with government agencies or large organizations.
Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Employment Requirements

Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching and lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds may be required. Some travel with the occasional overnight stay may be required.
