Duties The United States Space Force (USSF) at Peterson Space Force Base is searching for a Management Analyst, for HQ SPOC/S1M (NH-0343-03, GS-12/13 equivalent). The primary purpose of this position is to maintain an account of valid manpower requirements in compliance with resource allocation and organization policy and to conduct analysis evaluation and project management within SpOC Manpower and Organization Division. Serves to manage, facilitate and conduct command wide comprehensive manpower requirements determination and process improvement projects, and organizational analyses of a wide diversity of organizations, functions, and work processes and provide strategic planning alignment and consultant management capabilities to improve mission effectiveness, resource efficiency, and resource savings. Leads special manpower studies as directed. Knowledge of process improvement techniques such as benchmarking, metric/statistical analysis and process flow charting. 3. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques used to resolve complex problems of a broad range of functional areas. 4. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise. Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year. May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. This position is eligible for telework 2-4 days per pay period. PCS and incentives are authorized.
