Job Overview
The Advanced Management Analyst formulates strategy and leads multi-project improvement efforts to achieve organizational goals across strategic themes. Mentors others in the use of process improvement methodologies, project management strategies, leadership, and change management skills to achieve improvements in both clinical and operational outcomes. Manages the day-to-day progress of projects being led by Management Analyst team members. Collaborates with faculty, staff, leadership, and families in multidisciplinary teams. By position provides consultative support in the use of quality and process improvement techniques and methodologies to assigned areas of the organization. This role relies heavily on influence and critical thinking skills rather than authority to achieve project objectives.
This role's primary focus is supporting the Performance Improvement Academy as a subject matter expert by delivering targeted Lean Six Sigma methodology training (White Belt, Yellow Belt, Lean Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.) within a classroom environment that integrates hands-on exercises, simulations, and academic testing. The role further encompasses mentoring Lean and Green Belt candidates across the organization and verifying their successful application of tools via project work. Lastly, this role involves developing and maintaining pertinent Lean Six Sigma documentation, templates, tool kits, and administrative tasks specifically related to the Performance Improvement Academy.

Qualifications
- EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Management, Nursing or a related field.
- EXPERIENCE : Eight (8) years of professional experience in administrative, management, and operational analysis work.
- EQUIVALENCY : In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of related professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.
- Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.

1.The Advanced Management Analyst consults, develops, leads, evaluates large-scale financial, operational, clinical or administrative projects in collaboration with management. Defines the scope of work, purpose, goals and objectives, time frames, and resources requirements of the project. Transfers change management and improvement skills to process owners and builds process improvement capabilities across the organization through project work.
2.Drives work across strategic themes including, alignment to organizational pillar goals and strategy. Effectively assesses organizational needs, objectives and challenges and formulates appropriate improvement strategies in collaboration with assigned client.
3.Demonstrates advanced data management abilities and assessment of organizational problems, researches best practices, trends, and historical and current data, including but not limited to related laws, policies, procedures, methods, and practices.
4.Oversees day to day work of team members. Mentors team members in the use of continuous improvement tools and methodologies, change management, data collection and analysis, influencing skills and facilitation techniques. Conducts technical project reviews with team members
5.Develops data collection plans; conducts measurement system analysis and analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data sets to support root cause analysis and to demonstrate improvement. Establishes appropriate control plans; analysis of existing policies, procedures and practices. Explores possible alternatives or solutions.
6.Leads, facilitates, coordinates and provides project management for operational or clinical process improvement teams. Acts as a team leader and role model to other team members including coaching, training, monitoring, assisting with goal setting and managing the flow of day-to-day operations.
7.Leads and completes projects using established continuous improvement tools and methodologies to identify objectives and metrics, report identified savings and results, and imbed sustainability plans. Follows established practices for documentation, provides technical assistance to staff during implementation, as required makes modifications to ensure the successful completion of the project or study. Prepares written reports that summarize research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation strategies.
8.Builds and maintains positive working relationships with supervisors, employees, and other stakeholders to obtain cooperation and support in assigned projects or studies.
9.Communicates mission, purpose, progress and accomplishments of work across the organization but especially to key stakeholders and senior leadership. Effectively navigates the political landscape.
10.Drives the use of established improvement tools and methodologies to identify objectives and metrics, analyze current processes, create and implement new processes, report identified savings and results, and imbed sustainability plans.
11.Researches and facilitates adoption of new tools and methodologies in continuous process improvement. Publishes approach and results of projects as appropriate. Contributes to the development and delivery of continuous improvement training across the organization. Develops tools and training materials for use by the management team or others.
12.Performs other related duties as assigned.
