They are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join their growing team and help drive financial performance and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to senior management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, working closely with senior management to track performance and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Cost Control: Oversee the analysis of product costs and profitability, ensuring that cost structures align with operational and strategic goals.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and inventory levels to ensure optimal working capital and liquidity.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, driving continuous improvement in financial controls and reporting systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a commercial manufacturing environment, with specific exposure to working with retail customers.
  • Education: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or equivalent.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the manufacturing process, cost management, and financial analysis related to retail customer channels.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of financial software in particular Sage and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in an understandable and actionable way for non-financial stakeholders.
