Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional for a 13-week contract position to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves performing complex clerical, secretarial, and communication duties, and serving as the agency liaison with numerous insurance companies. The candidate will support the Clinical Supervisor, Utilization Specialist, and Clinical Staff, organizing and tracking negotiated visit frequency and rates.

COVID-19 Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) is required. Exemption forms are available and require provider/religious leader signatures. Approved exemptions will require the traveler to wear a mask at all times while on-site. To avoid delays, include the traveler's COVID vaccination card or intent to fill out the exemption form with profile submission. Requested time off during this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.

Submission Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college, executive secretarial, or business courses strongly preferred
  • Thorough working knowledge of health insurance issues and coverage
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Typing and general secretarial skills
  • Computer experience (Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PtCt, Meditech)
  • One year of experience in a busy, complex medical office or equivalent
  • Home health experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate 100% accurate transcription of medical terminology
  • Active and valid driver's license
