Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Marietta, GA 30060. This is a 13 contract-weeks role, with possible extension - open to local and travel.
Summary: Performs basic and intermediate screening and diagnostic mammography examinations under the direction of the Radiologist.
Duties:
- Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures.
- Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists and instructs them in complex or difficult procedures.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and maintain privacy throughout the examination.
- Position patients properly to capture accurate images.
- Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational safety and imaging regulations (e.g., MQSA, ACR guidelines).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic needs.
Education/Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
Experience
- 1 years Mammo Tech experience
- Diagnostic breast scans experience
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- Registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Mammography required
- BLS required

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (40 hours per week)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $55 - $57/hour
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
