Women's Imaging Specialists, an Atlanta top Google rated women's imaging organization, is seeking experienced Mammography Technologists for our incredible Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Dawsonville, Cumming and Atlanta for our Mobile Coach locations. The ideal candidate must be well versed in all aspects of clinical breast imaging and patient care. Must be warm, compassionate, caring and possess an outwardly positive attitude. Candidate must be ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification.
This position is full-time with excellent benefits, provides a family-feel work environment and offers flexibility. We work only M-F 8am-4:30pm, no weekends, evenings, on call or holidays. Hourly compensation is negotiable based on experience .

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates computer and mammography equipment for image production and documentation.
Documents patient assessment and history.
Provides patient with compassionate care and breast 'education'.
Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
Performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal images.
Performs DEXA bone density testing
Enters and properly completes all risk and history information into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Set's exam status accordingly, for interpretation by the radiologist in an accurate and timely manner.
Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to unique needs of the department and respond appropriately.
Communicate abnormal situations to proper sources in a way that facilitates resolution and/or tracking.
Actively engages other health care providers (radiologist, surgeons, specialist, sonographers) to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
Follows department procedures/processes/policies.
Practices safety measures in radiography by adhering to all governing regulations.
Follows universal precautions, infection control guidelines and sterile technique.
Complies with all governing regulations.
Maintains exam room and work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
We are a Certified Drug Free Workplace. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification. ARRT (R)(M)
Must have at least one year experience as a Mammography Technologist performing screening & diagnostic exams.
Basic Knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines.
Basic Knowledge of mammography Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
General knowledge of policies and procedures for the delivery of healthcare services.
Basic PC (keyboarding & navigation) skills.
COMPENSATION :
Hourly compensation commensurate with experience. Negotiable.
Bonus opportunity for additional monthly and annual compensation.

Paid Time Off: Accrue 80 hours/year for 1st and 2nd year; 120 hours/year starting 3rd year
