  • Contribute to planning and implementing differentiated activities that meet the students' learning goals

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interaction among pupils

  • Provide personal care and emotional support where necessary, promoting student independence and well-being

  • Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate effectively with the teaching team and school SENCO

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working in a secondary school or SEN environment, particularly with small group or 1:1 support

  • Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges

  • A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Experience with behaviour management strategies or specialist SEN interventions

  • Team Teach or similar training (preferred but not essential)

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA Certificate, or a degree)

What We Offer

  • A supportive and experienced SEN team in a collaborative school setting

  • Opportunities for ongoing training and career progression

  • A rewarding role making a real difference in young people's lives
