Position Summary The
Maintenance Worker is responsible for daily general preventative maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grounds, painting, and irrigation repair.

- Prepares vacant units, paints, and conducts drywall repair.
- Conduct filter changes, annual fire extinguisher replacement, and pest control.
- Conducts annual inventory.
- Install doors, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, flooring, irrigation valves, toilets, appliances, lock changes, and critical control.
- Conducts posting of notices and flyers.
- Manages inventory of parts.
- Respond to emergency calls during and after working hours, including on-call as assigned.
- Perform other job-related tasks and duties as assigned.
This position is eligible for participation in the collective bargaining unit (SEIU), representing certain Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority employees. Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications are intended to identify applicants most likely to perform successfully. Education, training, and work experience :
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of building and/or residential maintenance experience.
Licenses and Certifications :
- A Valid Nevada state-issued Driver's license coverable under SNRHA's insurance policy is required at the time of application.
SNRHA utilizes Criteria for online employment testing. Successful candidates will be invited via email to participate in the testing for further consideration in the recruitment process. Failure to participate in the testing is considered a withdrawal by the candidate. Screening and Selection Applicants who meet minimum qualifications may be further considered.
