Title: Maintenance Training Coordinator

Salary: Salary negotiable based on experience

Purpose: This position is responsible for research, development, classroom and hands-on instruction for the maintenance employees.

Reports to: Training Manager

Job Functions:
  • Presentation materials, production coordination and/or distribution by utilizing various equipment, Microsoft and Adobe software
  • Develops Maintenance course curriculum and prepares materials (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, charts, etc.) for training courses, training flashes, webinars and/or DTO TV.
  • Completes simple graphic updates to brochures and training material as necessary
  • Creates maintenance webinars
  • Interacts with project coordinators and other training staff as needed

  • Classroom & Hands-on Training Presentation
    • Knowledgeable of training requirements relating to all aspects of the job duties of all maintenance employees
    • Responsible for developing, scheduling, and conducting multi-media training programs for the maintenance department.
    • Maintain training to meet OSHA standards
    • Coordinate Apprenticeship Program, evaluate candidate performance and recommend advancement status.
    • Training for prep for the CDL A & B license testing
    • Rodeo set-up, testing and maintenance employee preparation
    • Ensures third party training standards

  • General Duties
  • Creates graphs and charts for maintenance monthly reporting
  • Organize and schedule training courses
  • Assembles materials for distribution
  • Ensures all necessary material and correspondence are included in packets to be distributed.
  • Maintains files of completed trainings in Train Caster and Track It Training Systems
  • Obtains estimates and schedules training with third party venders
  • Completes appropriate internal paperwork for purchase orders, processing invoices, etc
  • Maintains, recertifies and audits maintenance training equipment.

  • Ability to effectively operate all Microsoft applications, Ron Turley, TrainCaster, Track It Software systems, and etc. Must be able to operate phones, computer, tablets, laptops, printer/fax/copy, adding machines, projector, smart board, camera, and have the ability to set up training equipment off site.

Recommended preparation for employment:

Possess an associate or bachelor's degree and at least four years professional experience as a mechanic and/or maintenance trainer. Possess a "A" CDL license. Possess high functioning computer skills in all Microsoft applications.
