Maintenance Technician with Security Clearance

We are looking for an experienced Facility Operations Technician. This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility plant equipment, building management systems, and auxiliary systems. Candidates must have a strong background in commercial building maintenance and technical troubleshooting. Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-temperature hot water generators, centrifugal chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, and HVAC systems

• Monitor and control the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficiency and reliability

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including repairs and modifications

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues using specialized tools

• Interpret equipment and system readings to identify areas for improvement

• Work independently and with a team to maintain operational efficiency Qualifications

• 2 years of HVAC trade school or equivalent certification

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance

• EPA CFC Universal certification

• Experience with hand and power tools, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems

• Familiarity with BMS, computerized alarm/control systems, and Microsoft Office tools

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work from aerial lift platforms and ladders

• Ability to lift 30 pounds with or without accommodations
