Title: Maintenance Tech

Position Description:

  • You will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repairing all electrical and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of manufacturing equipment.
  • You will work alongside some of the most knowledgeable, skilled, and dedicated team members in the industry to help guide you to success.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work experience in a similar role ideally in production orientated environment, with emphasis on CNC machines and mechanical presses is preferred.
  • Strong electrical & mechanical analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Experiences in welding, sheet metal fabrication and pipe fitting.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication and basic computer skills.
  • Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime is desired.

Requirements:

  • Support production operations for all maintenance requirements, including hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as scheduled.
  • Select materials and operate equipment to complete work including electrical hand tools and voltage or ampere measuring devices.
  • Troubleshoots and maintains all plant equipment through the application of sound troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
  • Work from available drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and routine inspections maintenance.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Title: Tool and Die Technician


Position Description:

  • General Description: The chosen candidate will be responsible for assembling tools and building die sets for the forging process.
  • The candidate will be part of a combined crew to work together in continuous improvement of tool performance, support production with adequate tooling and troubleshooting operational issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Replace Die Sets in Press
  • Certify Die Sets to print prior to release for production
  • Prep press bed for new Dies Sets
  • Clean & rebuild Die Sets to print
  • Operate a variety of hand tools to spot, grind, and finish hardened tools, as well as build, assemble, install and adjust automation transfer devices
  • Work with press operators and process for continuous improvement of the process and tool performance
  • Anticipate die and operation problems and work to eliminate them before they happen
  • Maintain accurate documentation in computer based system
  • Organize, manage, and maintain tool inventories

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years work experience in a similar role with Die Set setups or Press Operations
  • Ability to complete mathematical computations, problem solve, and troubleshoot
  • Experience using calipers, indicator, and other basic measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret tool and assembly drawings
  • Knowledge with tool material and properties

Education Required:

  • High School OR GED
