Job Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on large industrial equipment, including 950+ ton presses.
- Diagnose and repair PLC systems, including reading and creating logic.
- Perform maintenance on supporting equipment like compressors, chillers, conveyors, and material handling systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and manage repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory for spare parts and tools while keeping work areas organized.
- Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience: At least 3 years in industrial maintenance, with expertise in troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to read schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprints.
- Certifications: Journeyman Electrician, Certified Maintenance Professional, or equivalent (preferred).
- Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at elevated heights.
