The Maintenance Technicians are responsible for keeping the brewery, taproom, warehouses, grounds and supporting facilities operating smoothly. This position works collaboratively with the production, distribution, taproom and maintenance teams and reports directly to the Director of Brewing and Operations.

The ideal candidate:
  • Works well in a team environment, but can also perform tasks independently
  • Has experience with industrial and/or food manufacturing equipment
  • Has experience with mechanical equipment, electrical work, plumbing and/or HVAC equipment
  • Has good trouble-shooting skills and is able repair mechanical and electrical systems in building, brewery and packaging equipment
  • Is well organized, detail oriented, has good communication skills and has strong follow through with tasks
  • Displays solid time management and discerning prioritization skills

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures
  • Perform building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs as necessary
  • Understand production systems and machinery thoroughly, diagnose source of failures and make emergency repairs to mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems as needed to return systems to service and minimize production downtime
  • Log actions and findings in an accurate and timely fashion in a CMMS
  • Ensure department maintains a clean and orderly work area, return tools, equipment and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after assignments
  • Complete assigned project work
  • Grounds keeping and snow removal as needed
  • Assist other departments or perform other tasks as needed

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance-type position
  • Electrical background and knowledge preferred
  • Good computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
  • Work hours are typically (but not limited to) 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, with rotational on-call weekend coverage
