Maintenance Technician

On Time Staffing is seeking maintenance technicians for our warehouse in Waddell, AZ. Starting pay rate: $27 Available Shifts:
•  First Shift 6am-2:30pm
•  Second shift 10am-6:30pm Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of the warehouse. The Maintenance Technician will possess knowledge of building skills including plumbing, drywall installation, painting, low and high voltage electrical, basic welding and general building repair. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•  Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and racking in the warehouse
•  Fabrication or assembly or furniture or equipment
•  Consults with the Maintenance Supervisor on work that may require outside assistance
•  Move and relocate office furniture, make adjustments to desk, chairs or cabinets
•  Repairs light fixtures, installation and repair of electrical devices
•  Receive and respond to work orders of mechanical or maintenance issues
•  Works with tools and other supplies necessary to complete tasks
•  Follow corporate safety procedures at all times and complies with OSHA requirements and wear proper PPE at all times
•  Understand and follow instructions provided orally or in writing
•  Inspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the building
•  Operate a variety of hand and power equipment in a safe and effective manner Requirements:
•  Ability to lift up to 75 pounds of weight.
•  Must have experience working on and repairing conveyors
•  Must have computer skills
•  Must have experience in box erector and tape machinery repairs
•  Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand.
•  Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
•  Strong leadership skills
•  Self-Started with "Can-do" attitude
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Must be able to stand or lie for extended periods of time in order to complete tasks
•  Experience with fabrication and welding
•  Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, stooping, bending, standing, pushing and/or pulling
•  Willing and able to work in high and/or confined work spaces; using scissor lift or cherry picker
•  Walking in the DC with great frequency
•  Able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building
•  Must have attention to detail Experience, Education, and Training:
•  Degree or certification from a Technical School preferred
•  Construction experience is a plus not a must
•  Building Maintenance experience
