Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician for a global manufacturer of nonwoven fabric solutions in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This role offers competitive starting pay of up to $42 per hour dependent of experience, as well as a range of benefits that you could be eligible for such as healthcare, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.

Preventative Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues and replace/repair components
  • Operate various hand and power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in line with safety standards
  • Participate in a hands-on technical test during the interview process
  • Train on 1st shift (8AM-8PM) and move to a 2-2-3 night shift schedule (8PM-8AM)
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment uptime and reliability

Preventative Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree in Mechatronics or related technical field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills required - Siemens experience highly preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in high-heat and physically demanding environments
  • Preferred certifications: CMRT, OSHA 10
