DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:
- Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.
- Perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.
- Prepare apartments for tour/next residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
- Assist with property inspections, including semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.
- Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
- Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).
- Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is required; current driver's license is required; 1 year of facility or property maintenance experience is required; EPA certification is required; CPO is strongly preferred; familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
