Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $28.96/hr
Starting pay is $28.96-$37.68 DOE.
- Responsible for the monitoring and repair of the Temper Line and Plasma/Oxy-Fuel Table electronics and electrical equipment to ensure that efficiency and minimal down time of the line is maintained.
- Performs general maintenance on plant equipment (lubrication, monitoring, repairing, PM's & inspections) and informs Maintenance Supervisor if additional resources are required.
- Responsible for completing Work Orders as well as identifies potential equipment problems and to initiate improvements projects.
- Communicates with Operators to ensure a constant and smooth flow of the operation along with questioning the operation of the equipment to detect problems or concerns.
- Ensures all procedures are followed as outlined in the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 manuals as well as all safety rules and regulations are followed.

Monday-Thursday, 2nd shift is 4 days and 10 hours

Qualifications Technical education or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience required. 3 to 5 years of preventative maintenance experience preferred. PLC experience preferred. Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to use hands for gripping and handling tools and materials. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry moderately heavy items frequently and heavier items occasionally. Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and reach in various positions. Visual requirements include near, mid, and far range, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Able to communicate in person, over radio, or in group settings. Experience using desktop computers, hand tools, remote-operated cranes, forklifts, welding equipment, and oxy-fuel hand torches. Comfortable working near moving equipment and vehicles, in loud environments, and while wearing PPE.
