Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician III

Location: Newark, CA

Pay Rate: $30/hr-$36/hr

Join our team as Maintenance Technician III, where you'll play a key role in keeping food manufacturing operations running smoothly. If you're an experienced technician with a solid background in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems-and you're passionate about minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency-we want to hear from you.


What You'll Do:

  • Perform complex technical repairs and preventive maintenance on bakery equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
  • Repair, fabricate, and install mechanical and electronic components.
  • Diagnose and resolve control system issues across production, building automation, fire protection, and more.
  • Support production teams with technical expertise and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Complete equipment overhauls and test functionality post-repair.
  • Maintain equipment during active production shifts.
  • Use tools including saws, drills, scissor lifts, and forklifts safely and effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records using Maintenance Management Systems and email communication tools.
  • Uphold strict compliance with GMPs, quality assurance, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized.
  • Coordinate with bakery teams to ensure maintenance minimizes disruption.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma plus 4 years of experience in related industrial systems
  • (or 6 years without diploma; Bachelor's in Engineering preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with at least three of the following:
  • refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, food manufacturing process controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial environments, including PLCs and field devices.
  • Deep understanding of machinery, preventative maintenance, and process control systems.
  • Able to read and interpret technical documentation including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving production environment.
  • SAP and food manufacturing experience is a plus.
