Focus:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on critical healthcare systems and building equipment, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems in compliance with industry safety and operational standards.
- Respond promptly to tenant and department requests, ensuring minimal disruption and high satisfaction.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party vendor work, ensuring quality standards and contract compliance.
- Maintain fire/life safety systems and support emergency response protocols as required.
- Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotation to provide continued support.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Skill Set:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or healthcare facility operations and maintenance or Prior experience, specifically within healthcare facility maintenance or similar mission-critical environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in related fields preferred
- Relevant certifications such as Universal CFC, SMA/SMT, or similar.
- Proficient in using computer software and maintenance management systems (Microsoft 365 experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to detect smoke, chemical odors, and respond appropriately in mission-critical scenarios.
- Healthcare facility maintenance experience is highly desirable.
