Focus:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on critical healthcare systems and building equipment, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair building systems in compliance with industry safety and operational standards.
  • Respond promptly to tenant and department requests, ensuring minimal disruption and high satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendor work, ensuring quality standards and contract compliance.
  • Maintain fire/life safety systems and support emergency response protocols as required.
  • Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotation to provide continued support.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Skill Set:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or healthcare facility operations and maintenance or Prior experience, specifically within healthcare facility maintenance or similar mission-critical environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in related fields preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as Universal CFC, SMA/SMT, or similar.
  • Proficient in using computer software and maintenance management systems (Microsoft 365 experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and healthcare staff.
  • Ability to detect smoke, chemical odors, and respond appropriately in mission-critical scenarios.
  • Healthcare facility maintenance experience is highly desirable.
