Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
2. Inspecting machinery to identify any malfunctions, damage, or wear and tear.
3. Performing complex troubleshooting to diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
4. Repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
5. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
7. Participating in safety meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance and maintain personal skill level.
8. Understanding and implementing manufacturing methods and procedures in day-to-day tasks.
9. Operating and controlling the functionality of machines and tools.
10. Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician role will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
3. Strong technical understanding and skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
5. Familiarity with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
6. Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
7. Proven experience in preventive maintenance and repairing.
8. Ability to operate and control machinery and tools.
9. Strong understanding and commitment to basic safety procedures.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
