We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician I to support highly automated, cutting-edge manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll be directly responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced production equipment-everything from laser welding and mechanical swaging to PCB handling and high-speed component assembly.
What You'll Do:
- Perform equipment setup, repairs, and preventive maintenance under minimal supervision
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
- Use tools and technical knowledge to repair and maintain manufacturing systems
- Work from technical drawings to build or repair mechanical assemblies
- Accurately document maintenance activities and communicate with team members
- Contribute to the installation and startup of new automation equipment
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of hands-on maintenance or repair experience (manufacturing, HVAC, automotive, construction, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using hand and power tools, with solid knowledge of mechanical systems
- Basic computer and communication skills
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment or HMIs
- Familiarity with sensors, cam linkages, and precision assembly
- Background in laser welding, crimping, or electronic controls
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the shift
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and across multiple shifts
