This position ensures that all warehouse equipment is maintained in a safe, efficient operating condition. May performs fire inspections. Responsibilities include keeping up to date on all maintenance records for warehouse equipment, performing preventive maintenance for chargers, batteries and power equipment on schedule, issuing POs for all parts ordered on approval per management, issuing work orders for all work performed, performing light maintenance on trailers, general maintenance of the building and grounds, performing scheduled monthly fire inspection, and performing monthly sprinkler inspection. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED or equivalent in experience, ability to read and write English, and 10 years of technical experience in mechanics & electronics preferred. Physical demands include the ability to lift 50 lbs. - 75 lbs. occasionally and excellent hand and finger dexterity. Working conditions involve activities both inside and outside, exposure to extreme cold during freezer work, and hazardous conditions.
