Login Now Maintenance Technician Job Code:2024-FORR-MAINTENANCE-11.26 County:Forrest City:Hattiesburg FT/PT Status:Regular Full Time Education:High School Diploma Summary: Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide facility maintenance support to agency physical structures for facilities throughout PBMHR coverage counties. Position may be based in incumbent's county of residence, depending on location. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Wayne and Walthall Counties. Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent required Electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating training required Building maintenance experience required, industrial preferred Responsibilities: Ability to coordinate and maintain services with contracted vendors. Ability and knowledge to repair physical structure (painting, light bulbs). Ability to plan and recommend repairs or replacements of carpet, furniture, furnishings, etc. Ability to follow proper procedure and timely manner for needed contracted services. Ability to ensure proper operations and maintenance of ground sprinkler system, including time regulation. Ability to provide feedback to facility coordinators and supervisor.
