Maintenance Technician

Location: Greensboro, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing a variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance projects to enhance and optimize our operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in team efforts by fostering communication, training, and excellent work habits.

Apply advanced competencies in electronic and mechanical processes, including project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

Train production technicians in intermediate troubleshooting and basic machinery details.

Perform maintenance tasks with a strong focus on safety and efficiency in both high- and low-voltage environments.

Demonstrate expertise in PLC software programming and electrical hardwiring.

Maintain, repair, and optimize equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Be available to respond to after-hours maintenance calls when needed.


Education & Qualifications:

Required: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred: Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic fields or an Electrical Certificate.


Experience:

A minimum of two years in a similar maintenance technician role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.


Required Competencies:

Advanced knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems, measurement tools, and electrical skills.

Proficiency in PLC software programming and troubleshooting.

Competence in general machine shop tasks, welding, and working with high- and low-voltage systems.

Strong safety awareness and expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to contribute to and lead team-building initiatives.
