Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Salary: $35-40 hourly rate, Onsite 9-5
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client's organization in the Downers Grove, IL area
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair various assembly and processing equipment, including highly automated PLC controlled assembly lines and hydraulic presses.
- Troubleshoot and read schematics for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
- Communicate information on jobs performed either manually or electronically.
- Plan and implement safety, OEE, and production-related improvements.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
Qualifications:
- Electrical knowledge- 480/220/120
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
- Computer skills, including sending emails and using Excel sheets.
- Demonstrated problem-solving habits.
- Preferred experience in 24V DC to 480V AC electrical systems and troubleshooting high-pressure hydraulic systems.
- Exposure to using a laptop to communicate with PLCs and troubleshoot issues.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
