gpac is working with a client company who is seeking a Maintenance Technician, 1st shift for a food manufacturing facility in western Wisconsin near Eau Claire. This role will focus on ensuring equipment is maintained and repaired to work at highest efficiency so that their growing company can meet and exceed production. They are looking for someone with experience in ovens, pressing, pneumatic and hydraulic power systems, tearing down and setting up equipment, clean and maintain dies, repair electrical systems, with PLC experience. Our client is well-known and has a long-standing reputation in the food manufacturing world. You will report to the Plant Manager for quick decision-making abilities. They are interviewing to hire today.
The ideal candidate holds:
- Preferred 2 years of experience with equipment and PLC-maintenance tech
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operations.
- General welding experience (TIG preferred)
- Experience with multi meter to troubleshoot electrical systems, hand and power tools
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic power systems
- Independent mindset, preventative maintenance planning ideal
- High School Diploma
