Maintenance Technician
Our client in Carrollton, TX is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a 2x2x3 night shift schedule (6 PM - 6 AM). This is a direct hire, hourly role with overtime available.

Maintenance Technician Role:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure equipment runs to OEM standards.
Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to maintain optimal equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance per OEM guidelines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems.
Install and align new equipment and components.
Read and follow schematics, manuals, and diagrams.
Document work, report issues, and support planning team with needed corrections.
Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, fall protection, hot work, etc.).
Support reliability and continuous improvement efforts.
Maintenance Technician Background Profile:
Must have solid experience in a similar role working within a heavy industrial environment.
Experience using volt-meters and troubleshooting live circuits.
Familiar with sensors, relays, fuses, motor starters, and VFDs.
Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
Must have experience with: Diaphragm and hydraulic pumps, Pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders, and Gearboxes, bearings, shafts, sprockets, and drive chains
AB/Rockwell PLC troubleshooting and updates.
VFD programming and troubleshooting.
Strong root cause analysis skills.
Vibration/motion amplification and infrared certifications preferred.
