Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on production, packaging, utility, and facility equipment to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot equipment issues using manuals, schematics, and hands-on problem-solving.
• Support utility system upkeep, including boilers, compressors, vacuum pumps, HVAC, and water supply systems.
• Complete required documentation for maintenance activities including work orders, PM checklists, and permits.
• Uphold high standards of safety, sanitation, and GMP compliance throughout all maintenance tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, food quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.
• Assist with capital projects and facility upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Step in on other duties and special projects as needed to support maintenance and plant goals.

What you need for this position:

• Previous hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant setting preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems including motors, pumps, compressors, and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a cross-functional team to solve mechanical issues.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and commitment to safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work full-time, on-site schedules (multiple shifts available: afternoons and overnights).
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
• Must be able to lift, move, and work around large machinery in a production environment.
