Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on production, packaging, utility, and facility equipment to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot equipment issues using manuals, schematics, and hands-on problem-solving.
- Support utility system upkeep, including boilers, compressors, vacuum pumps, HVAC, and water supply systems.
- Complete required documentation for maintenance activities including work orders, PM checklists, and permits.
- Uphold high standards of safety, sanitation, and GMP compliance throughout all maintenance tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, food quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.
- Assist with capital projects and facility upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Step in on other duties and special projects as needed to support maintenance and plant goals.
What you need for this position:
- Previous hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant setting preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems including motors, pumps, compressors, and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a cross-functional team to solve mechanical issues.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and commitment to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work full-time, on-site schedules (multiple shifts available: afternoons and overnights).
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
- Must be able to lift, move, and work around large machinery in a production environment.
