Provides assistance to West Park Mall's daily operation by giving hands-on technical support in areas of carpentry, mechanical function, repair and preventative maintenance in specialty leasing carts and kiosks, transport of supplies and fixtures, stocking of mall supplies, painting and general maintenance of common areas, and assistance to the various departments in the Management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the overall good condition and operation of the malls physical structures including doors, walls, roofs, stairs and parking lots, and buildings.
- Provide ongoing maintenance of customer service equipment such as wheel chairs.
- Handle the removal, repair, and installation of various signs throughout the mall under direction from management. Keep an inventory of needed special signs and supervise vendors providing signage for the mall.
- Supervise the proper storage of Operation and Marketing supplies and fixtures, including repair and painting as required.
- Under the direction of the GM and OM maintain the ongoing refinishing and repair of the common area floors including surface including surface preparations, repair, painting, sealer and slip retardant application.
- Pick up, deliver, and transport supplies and fixtures needed by the mall as directed by management.
- Operate heavy equipment safely (high lift machines, sprayers, and tractors) as required by the Operation Department in the mall.
- Give such services as are requested by Management to Retailers in the mall including functions as described above.
- Assist Management in the implementation of the Mall Safety program and Emergency Response Plan.
- Where directed by Management, supervise contractors and vendors working in or providing materials to the mall.
- Other duties as assigned.
