Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Canton, MO

Pay: $30.00 per hour


About the Role:

Hey there. We're seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our equipment and facilities in tip-top shape. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and the occasional installation. If you're someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills and enjoys working independently, we'd love to hear from you.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preventive Maintenance: You'll perform routine maintenance on machinery and systems (lubrication, inspections, cleaning, etc.) to keep everything running smoothly and prevent breakdowns.
  • Repairs & Troubleshooting: You'll quickly diagnose and fix any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues that arise.
  • Equipment Installation: You'll assist in installing and setting up new machines and equipment.
  • Facility Maintenance: You'll handle general building repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and structural fixes.
  • Safety: You'll follow all safety protocols and help maintain a safe work environment, reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Recordkeeping: You'll keep accurate logs of all maintenance work and equipment status.
  • Parts Inventory: You'll help manage parts and supplies to support maintenance tasks.
  • Collaboration: You'll work with Operations, Production, and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Emergency Repairs: You'll respond quickly to urgent issues to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Continuous Improvement: You'll look for ways to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
  • Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and standards.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Canton, MO.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with specific industrial machinery.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • HVAC experience or certification.
