Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician (Fitness, Pool & Spa Operator)
ABOUT THE ROLE As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment with some duties around the fitness, pool & spa area.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
- Schedule/Shift: 4 day / 10 hour
- Must be flexible to work weekends
- Must live within designated radius of the job site to reliably work schedule/shift.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
- Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Prior experience in general maintenance or a related technical field is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience as a technician, including proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to service multiple locations independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Physical capability to perform tasks in various outdoor settings and weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and service documentation.

The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
