Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician.
Location: Fruitland, ID
Shift: Graveyard
Schedule: 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Pay: $17.39/hr.
Job Summary
Responsible to perform maintenance duties in the plant including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, boiler gauge reading, welding, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential
• Work on preventative maintenance priorities daily
• Fill out work orders to track work done in department
• Respond to radio calls to troubleshoot breakdowns of all machinery
• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor to inform of needs for outside contractor expertise
• Fabricate equipment
• Take readings on boiler gauge and refrigeration
• Work on and fix hydraulics, belts, pneumatic equipment etc. in a safe and efficient manner
• Use lockout/tagout according to company standards and policies
• Use a variety of tools (hand tools, power tools, welders, torch, fax, copier, grinder, radio, calipers, dial indicator, etc.) in a safe manner to perform essential job duties
• Be able to physically lift 50 lbs. daily
• Work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Maintain good personal hygiene, follow GMP's and keep a clean, safe, and sanitary workplace. Immediately report any situation that may cause product to be contaminated.

• Mechanical ability; work with tools safely and correctly
• Ability to make decisions based on various safety factors
• Able to travel to all areas of the plant efficiently, including climbing stairs.
• Able to lift 50 lbs frequently during shift
• Must be able to work effectively and safely in a wet and hot/cold environment
