Maintenance Technician Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensure the upkeep of community appearance.
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report any hazardous conditions, maintenance needs, or safety-related issues.
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
- Accurately complete records regarding service requests and make-ready vacant apartments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields preferred.
- High School diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
