General Job Description


The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment. This role serves as a lead technician, providing expertise, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and building systems (e.g., conveyors, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical panels, etc.).
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement timely repairs.
  • Lead maintenance projects and coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with OSHA, company safety policies, and quality standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for equipment repair and installation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment histories, and inventory records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Assist in sourcing replacement parts and working with vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Read and apply information from blueprints, equipment manuals, and schematics to perform installation and repair tasks.
  • Participate in emergency and on-call maintenance rotations as required.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Flexible hours to be available.

Must be available to work weekends when requested by the Supervisor.

Monday-Friday, core work hours 1 st shift

This is a full-time position.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (up to 480V), PLCs, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and standard maintenance reporting.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments (heat, noise, confined spaces).

Preferred/Desired:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Maintenance Supervisor Experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and ERP
  • Experience in film and solar panels .
  • Have a strong desire for personal and professional development.
