Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified candidate interested in becoming a Maintenance Supervisor to support the overnight shift at a Printpack facility in Villa Rica, Georgia.


This is a overnight shift 40-hour position Monday - Friday


Minimum Requirements:

  • HS Diploma and related experience
  • 3-5 years in manufacturing or similar environment
  • Proven leadership (maintenance leadership preferred)
  • Above average knowledge of Industrial Electronics, PLC's, Heat Controls, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts.
  • Past experience with hands on industrial maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles including Preventive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance
  • Plant or Process Engineering experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for Preventive Maintenance, Purchase Requisitions, Work Order Tracking, and Inventory Management

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and lead the department in a commitment to safe behavior and to making the plant a safer place to work. Support/drive hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk controls efforts.
  • Coordinate and direct plant maintenance work, consistent with Federal and State fire, safety, and environmental regulations and food safety/security procedures.
  • Increase equipment reliability through ownership of continuous improvement and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure completion of and tracking of all work orders in a timely manner with a high priority on safety work orders.
  • Manage inventory control system.
  • Manage key maintenance metrics.
  • Work to support production requirements to reduce waste and improve uptime, quality, run speed, and safety.
  • Supply technical knowledge to help troubleshoot production problems.
  • Supervise project initiatives and development activities to support changing plant needs, while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Own and ensure compliance to 5S in the department.
  • Act as emergency coordinator for the plant.
  • Understand hazards and control devices for a facility.
