Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing

An established manufacturing team is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support operations across coil processing, stamping, and tubing production lines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing current work processes and data to identify opportunities for performance improvement, enhancing KPIs, establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance processes, troubleshooting equipment, and managing capital improvement projects. This is an on-site role with occasional travel to support projects at other facilities.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3-5 years' supervisory experience preferred
  • Industrial electrical maintenance experience is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial operations
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a solid technical foundation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of high-frequency tube welding and steel coil slitting is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Experience mentoring and supervising technicians and support staff
  • Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with automated control systems and equipment installation

Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Supervise the maintenance department, emphasizing preventative maintenance
  • Partner with technical teams and production staff for root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Conduct capacity and resource analysis to meet operational demands
  • Lead initiatives to improve resource efficiency and reduce waste
  • Use data-driven approaches to monitor and enhance KPI performance
  • Set and execute continuous improvement goals and action plans
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and process improvements
  • Improve workforce utilization, layout efficiency, and overall productivity
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities, quality improvements, and workflow enhancements
  • Manage and coordinate capital and maintenance projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Establish time standards and performance metrics for production processes
  • Ensure a deep understanding and adherence to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) metrics
