Salary range: $85-95k annually


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Undergraduate degree in Engineering with a minimum of two years supervisory experience or an

equivalent combination of education and work experience required. A high level of analytical

ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Must be proficient with computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets and

database software.

JOB FUNCTIONS:


• Direct accountability for overseeing the maintenance of the manufacturing plant,

including machine, tools and all equipment necessary for the daily operations.


• Assist as needed with the activities of ISO 14001 and other related environmental tasks.


Responsibility:


• Provide supervision and direction to the Maintenance Technicians.


• Maintain and issues daily job assignments, record and evaluate the results of Preventative

Maintenance information.


• Provide assistance to departments requiring maintenance needs or assistance.


Controlled:


• Provide assistance to Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality as

it relates to fixtures and gages that are used in the manufacture of assemblies or products.


• Responsible for OSHA programs related to maintenance, MSDS management, and

Environmental regulations.


• Provide design assistance to the manufacture of fixtures, machines, tools and the seat

assembles.


• Assists with safety inspections and audits along with action plans.


• Ensure all employees have a safe environment in that all hazards, unsafe actions, or

unsafe conditions have been identified, corrected, and/or eliminated.


• Enforce safety rules, policies, and procedures consistently, and respond to and investigate

all reports of accidents or injuries in a timely manner.


• Thoroughly train new employees, correct or commend employee's health and safety

performance, and conduct adequate performance appraisals by evaluating an employee's

safety performance.


• Display a positive attitude towards safety and lead by example that will result in a safe

and healthful workplace for all who work at Louisville Seating Systems.
