An international manufacturing company in the San Antonio, TX area is now looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their facility. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise preventative maintenance activities
- Perform maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and repair of machinery
- Assess machinery to determine maintenance needs and plan appropriate maintenance procedures
- Oversee team of Maintenance Technicians
- Plan schedules for work orders and assign technicians for maintenance
- Maintain labor and budgets for maintenance department
Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing and maintenance (automotive is a plus)
- 3 years of department leadership experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment
- Expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) with proficiency in software creation (ex. OMRON or Allen Bradley systems)
- Able to read diagrams, schematics and interpret technical manuals
- Strong fabrication and welding skills are preferred
