In San Antonio, Texas, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in order to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
- Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpentry, and general cleaning of the facility.
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
- Participate in preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Order and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects as needed.
- Provide emergency maintenance support during off-hours or weekends, if required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the location.
