Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading our maintenance team and ensuring the optimal functioning of all equipment and systems. This position will oversee the maintenance and repair of facility equipment.
Essential Functions: - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Oversee and participate in the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department and providing training and development opportunities.
- Ensure all required skilled trades safety training and compliance training is completed.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Be available for on-call emergencies and provide quick resolution to any unexpected equipment failures or facility issues.
Position Requirements
Qualifications: - Associates Degree in a technical field, facilities management or related field with 6+ years relevant experience.
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field, facilities management or related field with 2+years relevant experience.
- Minimum education and years of experience requirements are not to be used exclusive of other leveling factors. Substitution of additional relevant education and experience for stated qualifications may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
